WHAT'S UP!

It has been another fun week. We are trying to take advantage of this great weather as long as we possibly can. We know it won't last long! Today was somewhat cooler 67 degrees, but by the weekend up to 80 again...How long will it last??? No one really knows.
This past week Giovanni and I went for a walk up to Bridal Veil falls. It is up in Provo Canyon about 10-15 minutes from our house. We took lunch up there and had a great walk and had some nice quiet time, something that doesn't happen much! The leaves are changing and it was so nice to be up in the middle of nature.

This past weekend we had another Italian night! Oh my what fun!!! By the time people came and went, and stayed, we figure there were close to 80 people. We had such a fun time. There was music, food, dancing, talking and laughing, and the kids loved the pool. We are so lucky to have the clubhouse, but for sure the next party will need to be in a larger place. I hope a tradition has started with this and we can get more people to come! It was so nice to hook up with old friends that we haven't seen for a while, and to make new ones!

The highlight of the week however, came on Sunday evening. Robert was ordained and Elder in our church. What a neat experience for him and our family. We are so proud of him and that he has lived his life in such a way to be ready for this next important step that he has chosen to take.
Grandpa Norman and Grandma Lorraine came down to share this special time with us. It was nice to have them there. I know that Grandma Martha was looking down and smiling as well. The next big step will be turning in his mission papers and getting his call.

Robert with Bishop Chipman

We have been busy with work for Gio and I, and school work for the boys, along with institute, scouts, work for Robert, and some play time too. Our lives never seem to be dull and I think that is a good thing!
