As you might recall, Robert received admission letters to BYU, BYU Idaho, Utah State, University of Utah and Utah Valley University. Everything seemed to be pointing towards BYU (can you believe that???) until a few weeks ago when, while opening the mail, Robert noticed that he had received a 1+1 year Academic Scholarship to....
UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY! Yes! To our big surprise, Robert has decided to go to a smaller University but with a great Nursing school. Most important of all, he will not have to pay for a full year and this can be renewed for a second year, based upon his grades. We feel confident that he has made a good choice and that he will do great there! On a personal note, Gio is happy that he can continue to cheer for the University of Utah...especially when they play against BYU :-)
In the mean time our little smart genious, Brian, has finished his basketball season and has already started a new soccer season with his most favorite coach, Gio! The team has played 2 games with 1 win and 1 loss. Brian has scored a goal but for sure will score more throughout the season. Finally, just as a side note, Judi is enjoying her "spring break" doing spring cleaning, getting things ready for our vacation and we are all excited to see Pino (Gio's brother from Italy) again!!
In poche parole: Robert ha scelto la sua Universita': L' Universita' di Utah Valley. Si trova vicino casa ed ha vinto una borsa di studio di due anni. Studiera' nell' ambito medico (possibile assistente medico o anestesiologo..si vedra'). Brian gioca a calcio e Gio e' l' allenatore. Ci stiamo preparando per l' arrivo di Pino e la tanto agognata vacanza. Judi nel frattempo si sta' "rilassando" facendo pulizie di casa e gioendo del suo tempo libero. Un bacio a tutti.
